Harts Middle School boys fall to C-K in tourney final

The Harts Middle School boys’ basketball team fell 53-40 to Ceredo-Kenova last Saturday night in the championship game of the Larry Williamson Tournament at Harts.

Harts (4-1) was led by Kyle Browning, who poured in 23 points. He also made four 3-point shots and was 3-for-4 from the free throw line.

Drew Williamson tossed in 11 points, while Caleb Ellis had four and Hunter Cook two.

The Lions were 10-for-13 from the free throw line.

Harts Middle School won the girls’ end of the tourney with a victory over Wayne.

The Harts JV boys are scheduled to return to action on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Chapmanville Middle School holiday tourney.
