A Walmart employee has been charged with fraudulent schemes against Walmart.

Heather Hall, 27, of Whitman, was arrested and charged by the Logan Police Department on January 9.

According to the criminal complaint, Walmart’s loss prevention stated that several times Hall had ran a couple of items through the register as a sale and let the remaining items go to the person that was purchasing the items. Upon watching the security cameras, it was found that Hall would also collect a $5 bill and then give back change as if she had been given a $100. Security cameras recorded the transactions and the amount on the register did not match. It was determined that items taken were valued at $330 and the amount of cash was $780.

Hall was released on a $2,500 surety bond.
