County schools offer programs for exceptional children

The Special Education Department of Logan County Public Schools offers a wide variety of programs to eligible exceptional children in Logan County.

The offerings to exceptional children in the county will comply fully with the law, which requires programs for children with exceptional needs. These programs are free and will be designed to meet the appropriate needs of all exceptional students.

The total special education programs consists of classes for children who are mentally impaired, hearing impaired, visually impaired, autistic, behavior disorder, learning disabled, preschool handicapped, speech/language, gifted education and home/hospital instruction.

Logan County Public Schools also offers supportive service for children enrolled in special education classes.
