You decide since conflicting opinions abound. The quiet community of Verdunville was shaken up when they noticed an unusual visitor wandering around the neighborhood. According to Shelia Riddle, who took this photo from her yard, the animal walked around and laid down at times. Riddle called the Department of Natural Resources, law enforcement, Chief Logan State Park and county animal control to have the animal rescued. The county employees tried to catch the animal, but were unsuccessful. They also asked around to see if anyone in the area owned the animal.

I seen this pig run by the house on the road and I am down here at Psalms Way.People thought I was crazy when I said I seen this thing.I called to WVOW to let someone know that thier pig was out and for people to watch traveling up through here so they would hit it.I called people like Shelia also.I am not for sure who it belongs to or if it is wild.It was something different to see thats for sure.

This is obviously the legendary Chupacabra from Puerto Rico. I found a link on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra . People have been looking for this elusive animal/monster worldwide for years. It’s amazing that it was found in Logan County! This photo will one day be displayed in school books. The photo could be worth lots of money, so to keep it safe! I would only approach the Chupacabra with extreme caution; it could be violent depending on whether it is hungry or not.
