LEET, W.Va. — Eugene Frye 75, of Leet, went home to be with the Lord Friday, February 15, 2013 at Harts.

Born September 6, 1937 in Logan, he was a son of the late Howard and Faye Frye.

Gene was a member of the Kitchen Community Church and faithfully served the Lord. He enjoyed farming and volunteering for the veterans. He also served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1960. Gene loved helping his neighbors and loved ones; he enjoyed life and coal mining. Gene was the owner and operator of Leet Cable Company.

Those left to cherish his memory include his significant other, Juanita Clay, and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at noon Monday, February 18, at Freeman Funeral Home with Moses Vance and Gary Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gary Nickles, Logan Nickles, Fulton Toney, Wayne Clay, Mason Nickles and Zac Gillum.

Freeman Funeral Home of Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
