West Virginia State Police stopped a car with defective equipment while on routine patrol and arrested the driver on drug charges.

Ted Allen Topeka, 32, of Omar, told officers he did not have a valid West Virginia driver’s license. Officers learned his license had been revoked for a driving under the influence conviction on May 15, 2008.

Topeka gave verbal consent for the officers to search the vehicle, where they found numerous pills believed to be Roxy pills. He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.
