OAK HILL, W.Va. — Virginia Lee Lambert Blankenship, 83, of Hurricane and Oak Hill, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Born in Dehue, Logan County, she was a daughter of the late Carl B. Sr. and Florence Davis Lambert. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James C. Blankenship Jr.; brother, Carl B. Lambert Jr., and granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Wender.

Survivors include her brother, Terry L. Lambert; daughter, Claudia Lynn Wender; grandson, David Andrew Wender and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Audrey, and Timothy; son, James C. Blankenship III; grandson, James C. Blankenship IV, and great-grandchildren, Jay and Amelia; and, granddaughter, Virginia Hope Dickinson and great-grandchildren Allison Johnson and Cade Dickinson.

She now rests with her husband at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
