DINGESS — A surprise birthday luncheon was held for two siblings on March 23.


The celebration was in honor of Alma Baisden, 86, and her brother, Franklin Carter, 76, at Baisden’s home in Dingess.


They are the children of the late Ed and Effie Mullins Carter of Harts. Baisden is the proud mother of 10 children, 31 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Carter is the father of two children and three grandchildren.


The oldest attending were the honorees and the youngest attending was Bentley Baisden, age five months, and Liam McNeely, age seven months.


Others attending included Audra Carter, Elvis Baisden, Debra Baisden, Crystal Vance, Sandra Grimmett, Kailey Grimmett, Sonja Williamson, Cody Williamson, Hannah Williamson, Kaleb Williamson, Camron Williamson, Lee Williamson, Sally Maynard, Rylie Maynard, Adrian Baisden, Rosemary Baisden, Jacob Baisden, Lexus Baisden, Heather Chapman and Payton Chapman.
