DELBARTON, W.Va. — Mrs. Hattie Muncy Hosfelt, 75, of Delbarton, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.


Born December 2, 1937, at Myrtle, she was a daughter of the late Lark and Sadie Kirk Muncy. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Goldie Muncy, Gladys Tunnel and Agnes Muncy and brothers, Lark Muncy Jr., and Quincy Muncy.


Mrs. Hosfelt was a beautician and cosmetologist for many years. She was also a member of the Little Dove United Baptist Church at Belo and a member of the Eastern Star.


Survivors include one sister, Ruby (Ralph) Gilman; brothers, Rabin Muncy and Lawrence (Mary) Muncy: daughter, Michelle (Danny) Roberts; son, Rabin (Crystal) Ihlenfeld; grandchildren, Arika Honaker, Daniel Roberts, and Alyssa and Olivia Ihlenfeld; one great-grandson, Timothy Allen Henrick III, and many loving nieces and nephews.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Little Dove United Baptist Church with Jimmy Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.


Visitation will begin after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the church.


Evans Funeral Home and Cremation Services at Chapmanville is in charge of arrangements.
