WHITMAN, W.Va. — Minerva Jane Perry Bradley, 98, of Whitman, left this life for her heavenly home Saturday April 13, 2013, at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Born February 19, 1915, she was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Jude Damron. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Alta Mae Damron and Cora Roberts; three brothers, Nathaniel, Thomas and Fred Damron; five children, Dicie Robinson, John Perry, Romaine Vinson, Irene Browning and Ruth Roberts, and two grandsons Thomas Robinson and Roger Browning.
Minerva was a homemaker, a member of Mt. Gay Freewill Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Logan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Wilma Perry Trent of Orange Beach, Ala., Sarah (Donnie) Adkins Farris of Whitman and Carolyn Bradley (Larry) Crum of Chapmanville; two sons, Willie Jude of Whitman and James Michael (Marsha) Bradley of Whitman; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Verdunville Church of God with the Rev. Layton Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
Friends may call on the family from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Honaker Funeral Home of Logan and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
