A son using his mother’s debit card without her permission has led to him facing criminal charges. According to the criminal complaint, Jerry Boothe III, 36, used his mother’s debit card 13 times at different locations in Man. He was charged with 13 counts of fraudulent use of access device by the WVSP on April 12. His bond was set at $3,500. Also charged with Boothe was Wendy Burgess, 36. She was also charged with 13 counts of fraudulent use of access device. Her bond was set at $3,500.


Other charges filed in magistrates court include:


• Jennifer Ann Newsome, 36, was booked on April 13, by the West Virginia State Police for public intoxication, domestic battery and domestic assault. Her bond was set at $2,500.


• James Truman Smith, 34, was booked on April 14 for driving under the influence, driving while suspended/revoked for non DUI and on insurance by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Timothy Allen Lambert, 35, was booked on April 15 for domestic assault and domestic battery. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Dashawn Jamal Brown, 19, was booked on April 16 by the WVSP for forgery/uttering. His bond was set at $7,500.


• Steven Ray Helms, 38, was booked on April 16 for destruction of property, two counts of domestic assault 1st and 2nd (without display of weapon) and public intoxication. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Eldon Dwayne Curtiss, 45, was booked on April 16 by the WVSP for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Rende James Young, 37, was booked on April 7 by the Logan Police Department for public intoxication and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Allen Lee Fraley, 31, was booked on April 17, for domestic battery by the LCSD. His bond was set at $3,500.


• Luther Dale Dalton, 48, was booked on April 17 by the WVSP with two counts prohibited person with a firearm with domestic violence petition in effect and weapon brandishing. His bond was set at $5,000.


• Jadie Nicole Carter, 25, was booked on April 18 by the Chapmanville Police Department for possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $1,000.


• Nathan Lee Dillon, 22, was booked on April 18 by the Man Police Department for reckless driving, drivers license revoked for DUI and speeding. His bond was set at $2,500.


• Richard Lee Elkins, 28, was booked on April 18 by the WVSP for two counts grand larceny. His bond was set at $15,000.
