Two more weeks of Coal Field Youth Soccer League action is in the books.
Eight matches were held on May 11 and seven matches were played on May 4.
All games are played at the Mullins Soccer Field on Sawmill Road in Chapmanville.
On May 11 in a 16-and-under match, Insanity knocked off the Gators 4-3.
Insanity was led by Joe Dingess who scored three goals. Dominique Jackson, Kortni Packo and Jeff Lunsford had one goal each for the Gators.
The Ninjas, which beat Sawmill United 7-3, were paced by Hunter Napier’s hat trick. Joey Vinson had two goals. Ari Jeffery and Bryce kicked in one goal each. Sawmill got two goals from Mark Neace and one from Tanner Dillon.
In the 12-and-under division, the Pit Bulls were a 4-3 winner over the Phoenix. Hailey Chewning, Destiny Jackson and Madison Chambers had one goal each for the Pit Bulls. Steven Clemens had two goals and Walter MacNamara one for the Phoenix.
The Trouble Makers were a 6-0 winner over the Spartans in another 12-and-under match. Aidan Napier had four goals for the Trouble Makers. Ryan Newsome and Alexis Adkins netted one goal apiece.
The Pit Bulls also won 12-0 over the Blue Dragons. Madison Chambers and Travis Ward had three goals each. Hailey Chewning and Diana Birchfield tallied two goals apiece. Elijah Hawkins and Kaycee Meade had one goal each.
In the 9-and-under division, the Blue Jays were a 4-0 winner over the Scorpions. Jaxtin Hartle netted two goals, while Sam Adkins had one.
The Goal Busters won 2-0 over the Purple Tornadoes Austin Mills reached the net twice.
In the other 9-and-under match, the King Snakes won 6-4 over the Road Runners. Travis Ward had four goals to lead the King Snakes. Diamond Jackson and Cooper Gibson had the other goals. The Road Runners got one goal each from Jamari Turner, Savannah Richardson, Allie Burton and Adam Parsons.

The Ninjas won 9-2 over the Gators in a 16-and-under match. Hunter Napier scored six goals to lead the Ninjas. Bryce Hamilton had two goals and Ari Jeffery one. Austin Hanshaw tallied both goals for the Gators.
In the other 16s match, Sawmill United blanked Insanity 6 to nil. No names or statistics were provided from the match.
In a 12-and-under match, the Pit Bulls nipped the Spartans 5-4 behind the four-goal performance of Kevin Hanshaw. The Pit Bulls got two goals each from Hailey Chewning and Maddie Chambers and one from Kaylee Bowe.
The Trouble Makers and Spartans tied each other 1-1 in regulation but the Trouble Makers were able to win 5-4 in shootout kicks. Ashley Matney scored the only goal for the Trouble Makers. The Spartans’ goal was scored by Brandon Dingess. Ethan Conley, Ashley Matney, Kyle Browning and Gracie Brown scored shootout kicks for the Trouble Makers. Kevin Hanshaw, Sarah Toth and Carla Belcher scored in the shootout round for the Spartans.
In another 12-and-under match, Phoenix won 9-1 over the Blue Dragons. Steven Clemens had four goals for the winners. Walter MacNamara had three and Ally Kirk one. Jayde Kuenzel tallied the only goal for the Blue Dragons.
In the 9-and-under division, the King Snakes won 6-1 over the Blue Jays. Travis Ward kicked in four goals for the King Snakes. Diamond Jackson and Donna Robinson had one goal each.
The Scorpions downed the Purple Tornadoes 2 to nil as Bennett Casey and Eddie Paynter had one goal each.
