CONWAY, S.C. — Nary Williamson Burton, 83, of Conway, S.C., departed this life at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and received by a heavenly host Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
Born December, 21, 1929, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Lilly Moore Williamson. Also preceding her in death was a son, Michael Edwin Burton; three brothers, Carlos, Lowell and Dallas, and one sister, Roxanne.
Surviving include her husband of 64 years, Willard Junior Burton; two sons, Marvin Ray (Sharon Kay) Burton and Philip Dean (Rebecca Lynn) Burton, both of Conway; one daughter, Beverly Janel Burton (Timothy Allen) Woodyard of Canal Winchester, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Crystal Lynn (Jon) Thompson, Michael Paul Burton (Adam), Brian Michael (Jennifer) Burton, Philip Jason (Miranda) Burton, Stefanie Nicole Burton, Paige Alexis Woodyard and Sierra Grace Woodyard; nine great-grandchildren, Lauren Skye Thompson, Kiana Brooke Thompson, Ari Isaac Burton-Lippard, Brynn Logan Burton, Kinsley Madison Burton, Teagan Bryleigh Burton, Clayton Andrew Burton, Mason James Burton and soon to be born Maizey Grace Burton; one brother, Sherman Rudy Williamson of Frazeysburg, Ohio; three sisters, Mabel Kirk and Irene Bush, both of Frazeysburg, and Loris June Bowers of Verdunville; and daughter-in-law, Jetta Burton Jernigan of Smyrna, Tenn.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with Rev. Farris Burton officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
