Born April 13, 1947, at Ben Creek, she was a daughter of the late James Luther and Ethel Stanley Rasnick. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, James Luther Rasnick Jr. and Ralph “Ralphie” Stanley, and one grand-daughter, Chyna Desirae Ellis.
Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness Pentecostal Church at Ben Creek.
Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Joda “Bud” Browning; three sons, Jody (Sissy) Browning and Darin (Angie) Browning, both of Ben Creek and Buddy Wayne (Sherry) Browning of Hampden; one daughter, Angie Browning of Ben Creek; seven brothers, Ronnie Rasnick and Robert Rasnick, both of Princeton, Donald and Roger Rasnick, both of Detroit, Mich., William “Bill” Rasnick of War Eagle and Cletus Mullins of Bradshaw; three sisters, Christina Hernandez and Lisa Rasnick, both of Detroit, and one special sister, Nancy (Darrell) Cline of Baisden; six Grandchildren, three of which she raised; Amber Monosha Ellis Browning, at home, Bradley Allan Browning, Jodi Renae Browning, Rikki Collins, Krista Dotson and Vanessa Browning; five special great-grandchildren, Aiden, Hayden and Cheyann Elizabeth Faye Browning and Adam and Kayleigh Dotson, and a host of family and friends.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, at the Holiness Pentacostal Church with Pastors Denny May, Jonas Trent and Danny Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Browning Cemetery at Ben Creek.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Anthony Cline, Kevin Dockstader, Randall Rasnick Jr., Eric Runyon, David “Dicky-Do” Canteburry and Jay Grimmette.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Browning, Tim May, Brandon Bailey, Darrell Cline, Mike Browning and Tippy Browning.
Visitation will be from 6-10 p.m. Monday at the church.
