MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Jackie Dale Meadows age 66, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born in Logan, WV, he was a son of the late Arnold and Mildred Meadows. Mr. Meadows was a U.S. Army veteran serving two tours in Vietnam. He worked in the coal mines and drove a delivery truck for several years. H was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Logan, WV and was a member of Palmetto Pointe Church of God where he was a greeter and known to the kids as the “Candyman”. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Bob Meadows and a sister, Nelda Hammons.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Meadows of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Carol Barefoot and Barbara Meadows both of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Bo Meadows and Arnold Meadows, Jr. both of Logan, WV.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2013 at Highland Cemetery in Logan, WV.
