LOGAN, W.Va. — Hallena White Anderson of Logan passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her residence.
Born September 16, 1926, in Logan, she was a daughter of the late Mason E. “Doggie” and Belva Justice White. Also preceding her in death was her husband, W.N. “Bill” Anderson, and her son, R.M. “Mike” Anderson.
Hallena worked in her family real estate business for many years and was co-owner of Anderson Wholesale until her retirement.
Survivors include her brother, Rex White of Logan; son, W.E. “Bill” (Vikki Johnson) Anderson of Logan; grandsons, Joshua (Sarah) Anderson of Logan and Mark Anderson of Morgantown; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Nathan Anderson of Logan; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, and one very special nephew, Dr. M.E. “Ed” White II of Logan.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, November12, at James Funeral Home with Father Yesu Golla, of Saint Frances of Assisi Catholic Church of Logan, officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 561 Main Street, Logan, WV 25601.
James Funeral Home of Aracoma is in charge of the arrangements.
